WALLACE SC&W Sermon Preparation Web Helps Sites with Sermons and/or Illustrations: www.funnysermons.com  Is a site with free illustrations, quotes, one liners and anecdotes.  It offers a weekly e-newsletter.  It also has articles on how to use humor and when not to use it.   www.iows.net Is a site that sends out a two page weekly email with contemporary illustrations pulled from headlines and modern events.  There is a one time $15 activation charge.   www.ifindsermons.com This site has a free contemporary illustrations, jokes and quotes section with usually about 4-8 on a topic.  It also has sermons which can be purchased for $5/apiece or a annual subscription of $100.   www.lectionary.org  - A site that has both a free portion and a pay portion ($50/year) that provides lectionary passages with commentary and sermons. It also has children’s sermons, hymn lists for passages, hymn stories and exegesis on passages.      www.sermonsearch.com – A site that has guest pass and pay sections (beginning at a per download amount or a monthly amount of $22 and up).  It has background graphics, sermons, and points to ponder.  It has a free e-newsletter of illustrations and thoughts. .   http://www.sermoncentral.com – Many illustrations, PowerPoint templates and more as well as a weekly e-newsletter.
